This show is pretty simple to review. Something happens to Leonard that effects Sheldon and he has to learn how to correctly emit human emotions to get what he wants. Raj and Walowitz have a side story. Sometimes Penny is involved. The end. [insert laughter] I’m not complaining, this show makes me laugh. Two and A Half Men makes me laugh too, so a winning formula is a winning formula.
Leonard is invited to go to Switzerland to go to the CERN science complex and immediately thinks to invite Penny. The trip falls over Valentine’s Day so duh. Sheldon hears the first part and immediately gets to packing, assuming he’s going but Leonard doesn’t let him get too far. Unfortunately for Leonard, this exact predicament is in his roommate contract and Sheldon points out that this makes it an easy choice. Turns out not so much, Leonard overrules it and Sheldon calls their friendship off and the weird throat singing back on since he doesn’t have to abide by their “friendship clause” any longer.
Sheldon does try to work Penny but it fails and actually makes Leonard angry at him. But after all that, Penny get sicks almost instantly and Leonard goes ahead and invites Sheldon…just to find out he has the flu as well.
So who gets to go? Raj, of course! The one guy that spent this episode coming to terms with the fact that he was alone.
