This week starts at last week’s weigh in. They learn they’re going to the Olympic training grounds in Colorado. Aw man. That’s not a huge shocking bombshell! Oh well, let’s get on with it.
Oh! There’s the bombshell! Once they arrive they learn that they will be competing as individuals this week. AND TWO PEOPLE ELIMINATED! They did the exact same thing last year in DC. Saw this coming.
They meet Allison Jones a multiple medal-winning Paralympics athlete. Inspiring! As Always!
Melissa says the non-word undescribable. Ugh.
They go over nutrition and snooooore. Moving on.
Sam and Koli have a heart to heart. This episode is so dramaless it is killing me.
What I imagine is another inspiring moment, there was a test of the emergency system and I didn’t hear a damn thing. Next thing I know, they’re working out with some guy named Speedy.
Finally the pop challenge! They have to maneuver on a slide board 500 turns to win. Top three finishers get an advantage. Sam wins gold, Melissa silver and Sunshine wins bronze. Another emergency test! Nards. Don’t know what’s happening!
Well anyway, back to the important challenge. They have to do a lap around a field then take shots at five targets for each other. The previous challenge winners have the option of taking out targets of other players before they even start. Sam ends up with three shots out, Melissa two and Sunshine one. So they all just handicapped themselves. What an advantage! So it comes down to Darrell and O’Neal and O’Neal wins! Good for him. He’s only been on campus for two weeks, he needs it more than anybody there then, right?
Last chance workout with a figure skater who looks like…not a figure skater. Bob says a rugby player, but I’ve seen quite a few rugby players and no. Don’t think so, Bob.
At weigh-in nobody posted super great numbers. Michael got 11 pounds so that amazing, but unfortunately short of his 100 pounds in 6 weeks goal. Sam also needs to learn how to stop being a mouth breather because that’s super unattractive. Even if he did lose 12 pounds. Of course they hold out on Melissa til last since she has had the most erratic. She gained a pound so she goes home right away! I almost feel bed but no, I hate her. LEAVE.
So the vote is between Darrell and Cheryl. But wait! It’s not a vote, it’s a competition! They have to balance a torch stem on their head, which seems pretty ridiculous to me, but hey, reality tv. BALLS!
TO BE CONTINUED! Should’ve seen that coming…
During Melissa’s update the emergency broadcast system came back on. Blessing in disguise? Yep. It appears as though she has lost quite a bit of weight and has taken a liking to boxing.
