IT IS MAKEOVER WEEK! I’ve been waiting for like since…before the season started. It’s totes my fave! What they wear on a daily basis is somehow so frumptastic that they always look so amazing in normal clothes. Let’s take a look!
I’m not going to bore you with words because no one wants that. Right away they’re given $1000 each and a trip to Johnathan Antin’s salon for their makeover. They also get a private concert by Ashanti afterwards with whoever came to surprise them at their reveal. Good times. Pictures!
After all the love they have a challenge. Winner gets a pound advantage, first off gets a pound disadvantage. They have to climb on Jacob’s Ladder suspended above a pool for as long as possible. Ashley is first off and this challenge lasts over two hours! Daris just kind of…gave up and handed the challenge to Koli. Good for Koli though, because he’s usually second fiddle to Sam. Even Bob and Jillian are impressed.
In their last chance workout, Jill focuses on Ashely’s extra pound and Bob takes Daris aside to see why he gave up. Basically Daris just had a mental block and Bob works on breaking that down. And he does! Bob’s berating let’s Daris know that someone really believes in him, more than he does and he’s all I CAN DO THIS.
Weigh-in starts with a bang, Koli lost 15 pounds without his advantage. Nine seems to be the magic number, Mike, Daris and Sunshine all put it up. Sam has nothing left to lose so his two is expected and he’s guaranteed a place below the yellow line. Unfortunately my boy Mike is down there with him.
The vote actually came to a tie, and the person with the lowest percentage of weight loss goes home, and that was Sam. He reached his goal weight at the ranch so nothing big happened at home, but they do finally get to his romance with Stephanie. Awwies!
